360°dcLounge @ Covid-19 & Data Center – Retrospect

What an experience – the first online 360°dcLounge!

Thanks to the excellently equipped studio and the experienced team at Siemens‘ headquarters in Zug, the main session was streamed … so you can watch the presentations again.

All presentations and information material of the partners are available for you to download.

Special thanks to Bertrand Delatte, Siemens, you were a great sparring partner.

Even in the times of Covid-19, the issue of sustainability in data centers cannot be neglected. Thanks to Prof. Dr. Peter Radgen for supporting us with facts and figures in the keynote.

Thanks to the participants of the panel session – Marynet Bassily, Colt Data Centre Services, Tor Kristian Gyland, Green Mountain, Michael Wuerth, SAP,  Alba Iparraguirre and Stefan Rusteberg, EAGLE DC Siemens – who shared their experiences with us.

Unfortunately I missed the breakout sessions and will watch them afterwards. Thanks to the 5 very committed teams from Siemens, ENGIE, Kohler-SDMO, Rittal + Socomec + Victaulic as well as Senko + Telegärtner + VIAVI.

Congratulations to the 11 winners of the game – I wish you much pleasure with your prize.

See you soon at one of the next 360°dcLounge – online or live. Stay healthy!

Monika

360°dcLounge @ Covid-19 & Data Center

The mask of adults is called „experience“

Walter Benjamin, German philosopher, 1892-1940

Covid-19 has turned both our personal and business lives upside down. Data centers quarantined, cloud spending reaching record highs, downtime due to disrupted supply chains, canceled and postponed orders, suspended maintenance, short-lived, country-specific regulations, mobile working – although the data center industry tends to be one of the winners of this pandemic, we were and are in crisis mode.

The 360°dcLounge @ Covid-19 & Data Center on 17.09.2020 aims to share experiences, strategies and solutions from Data Center operators and companies, which will make us more successful and independent in the event of future pandemics and help us to remain active and competitive.

The 360°dcLounge @ Covid-19 & Data Center goes online. A new experience for you and me, I am confident that we can implement both the spirit of a 360°dcLounge „Brainfood instead of pretzels“ and networking. Interactive formats and also a lottery will integrate you! The event is in English language.

Please register early so that we can send you access data for the online conference as soon as possible.

We look forward to you and your experiences!

Covid-19 is a pandemic and has affected the data center industry as many other industries. Unnecessary maintenance visits have been delayed, face to face meeting converted in online meetings. Mitigation measures have been proposed. We’ll discuss some of them to understand which one has a long-lasting impact on the industry
